Reading, Connection, and Community Since 2018
The International Almere Book Club is one of our longest-running initiatives, founded in 2018 thanks to the enthusiasm and vision of our founding member, Svetlana.
We meet every month to discuss the book of the month, chosen from a diverse list of titles written in English and selected by our members. Meetings take place in the gezellig setting of a member’s home, usually starting at 19:30, once a month.
Our group is made up of passionate readers who enjoy exploring different genres, cultures, and perspectives. Discussions are lively, thoughtful, and always respectful—creating a warm and welcoming space to share ideas and insights.
